I'm going to have to set up on I think - and see about getting a system imaged.
You should do a How To on it.

I'd rather just upload a .XVA somewhere that doesn't have any of my images or custom settings. (but not until I get the parts to build up my hypervisor)

Did start using MDT and WDS but couldn't get it working correctly. So trying FOG server instead

Have a stubborn child sitting at the dining room table for hours refusing to eat her dinner from last night which she didn't eat and got sent to bed early. She's on like 24 hours of a starvation campaign right now.

Oh boy I remember those days. She will eat eventually (I think our kid had the same meal on the table for like 3 days once).

My 7yo went to bed early last night for refusing to eat. She was told eat or bed, her choice. We have not gotten to the point of making her eat the same plate the next morning yet. but it may happen soon if the current behavior keeps up.

as a non parent, what is the point in making them eat the food they refused the day before? What's the reason they didn't eat it?
I'm not sure I even understand sending them to bed if they don't eat. I can definitely understand telling them that they can't eat anything else (different) that night.

Easier said than done. I'd be willing to give it a try, but it's kinda hard as a single male

I am 40 years old and have NO desire to have my own children. I rent them from time to time from my wife's siblings, but uh, no thanks on having them myself.

I am happy to be 40 and have an adult child.

I'm trying to understand the lesson here? Why force this on a child, and not on an adult?
Frankly I'm a bit surprised that Scott is forcing his child to do this. Again, I understand no new food options for that night, it's the rest that confuses me.

The real question is when does this become "insane" so you just get a different food to get the child to eat.

I suppose that depends on the goal - and the reasons they aren't eating the food in front of them.

As another non-parent this has also baffled me. Make them food, serve them food. If they are old enough to use utensils, eating is up to them.

Our kid simply doesn't eat when he isn't hungry. But when it is bed time and he wants cookies, if he didn't eat his supper, he gets supper, or nothing.
They need to learn to eat (and do) things that they don't like -- within reason -- and by those in authority... The earlier they learn it, the less of a problem they will have as they get older.
I was never that big of a problem teenager for my parents, because I learned early on they meant what they said. I wasn't the perfect angel that everybody wants... but I knew where the line was at and how to tread if very carefully, lol.
