Themes look good. Didn't see any Applets, Desklets or whatever that seemed like things that I would want.

I looked at the landing page and decided none of it is interesting.

I am not a theme person really.

I like a changing background, but that is about it.

The rest can rot. Widget are just f***ing stupid.

Yeah, things running on my desktop space is really weird. I never look at the desktop.

I like a changing background because I often see parts of it..

Like this (recently rebooted so not much open)

That usually lasts about 10 seconds for me, lol.

I do not run ANYTHING full screen except my Windows 10 KVM on workspace 2. And that is only a single monitor.
                      I hate full screen.

I stack stuff around. So I always see some piece of the background some place.

I find that I do this more when I'm on a Mac. On Windows, unless I have a reason for it to not be maxed, it's maxed.

I usually max things and tab inside, like terminals. I leverage the virtual desktops a ton.

Same here, always a ton of things open, never see my desktop. Any desktop widgets or icons or whatever would be completely useless to me. If I have to minimize everything to get to something on my desktop, it'll set me back and waste time bringing stuff back up. I position things so I can click a window behind something running in front of it (when I can or makes sense).

I run my web browser 80% of the time maximized on a separate monitor, VMs on another virtual desktop. The rest of it is stacked windows everywhere.

I use alt+tab a lot to find windows easy, too.

Wait till your eyes start to go bad... then Full screen seems a bit more useful...

Though I need to learn your stacking option.

Skype for Linux (beta) has a 'normal' feel to it,.. really looks just like the Windows Version
