They also told me that the source information was proprietary to the supplier so that they couldn't tell me exactly where it's from, just that it's not from China. I'd be okay with it being from China, at least then orangutans wouldn't have been murdered for it.

Although it might be Soylent Green.

No that's the unupdated page. The weekend change is that it is unlimited. See the video above.

Me too. The kids play a lot more than I do. I'm up to about 105 games.

I looked for all of 2 mins yesterday to see if I could find a mailing list option, it wasn't readily apparent.

I'm on it. I'll try to find the link when I am at a computer.

I definitely like the ability to embed videos. I thought that would be a great feature over at SW.

      I'm loving it.

      Youtube Video

Another one from Viddler that needed to be rescued. This is one of my favourites, this is my presentation on understanding storage fundamentals at SpiceWorld 2010. This is the famous "cardboard boxes and duct tape" talk that got a lot of attention.

This is really a big deal for certain companies.

For a lot of them. There hasn't been any product like this for free before. Very big deal.

    • Open Source Rivals to Splunk in InfoWorld

      http://www.infoworld.com/t/log-analysis/splunk-feels-the-heat-stronger-cheaper-open-source-rivals-237041

Saw this one last week and thought that it was really interesting. I've used Splunk but was unaware of these competitors. They look to have some amazing features and for free, they could really offer some extreme value. Splunk is expensive and a ton of effort to make useful. It's fine for a small shop as likely they will not top its size limit but these products offer a lot of flexibility and no limits, ever.

      http://www.infoworld.com/d/cloud-computing/red-hat-take-microsoft-net-hosted-service-237792

This is making big news this morning. Red Hat's OpenShift is a direct competitor to Azure and now they are able to host .NET applications, in the big enterprise space, has been purely in the hands of Microsoft up until now.

      Youtube Video

This is an old one but it was hosted on Viddler and they are taking that service down this week. So I thankfully remembered to download this and transfer it to YouTube instead and now, since it is there, we can finally embed it somewhere so that it is actually accessible.

Awesome, glad you found the video. I heard that they are giving away over nine figures (that's more than one hundred million dollars US) in revenue to do this!! That it is completely free, unlimited, no adds, enterprise, secure and runs on Linux are all huge.

@ajstringham The one thing that we've been discussing and that this thread is about.

Ok, got it. In that case, if it's free, would that be worth looking at as an alternative to using Dynamics as a helpdesk AND CRM?

      It's not a CRM.
