@Bill-Kindle We have friends who do just that. It has been fun doing the syrup the old fashioned way with them a few times. And making maple sugar and snow candy yummy!

@scottalanmiller We haven't been since we have been back home (and Michael is done with school). I think this summer would be fun to visit again (hint hint)

I have lived in other countries (granted they were 3rd world) but I really love living in the US. I want to move to TN or TX area. I would prefer TX for the weather in general but love the green milder in TN as well.

We did that many times at Genesee Country Museum and Cummings Nature Center link text when we were still homeschooling. Loved outings like this one.

This would be lots of fun.

I use IE11. FireFox, Chrome and Safari on my desktop, different programs run in different browsers so I can keep track of things.

I love my 38G.

Our wish list is:

1. Some sort of compensation either $$ or hardware
2. Reciprocation on the referrals
3. Support on forums like this for our services and that we are one of your partners

I have never heard of that either. It sounds like it would drive me crazy

On the back of the multi-tasking thread. This is how I multi task everyday. However I got new shiny things to do it with today. 2-27" monitors (sides) 1-28" monitor (middle)
and new stand that attaches to the edge of the desk. Love the height and the ability to have the monitors take up less desktop space. Now to get synergy on everything!

Since I am the no networking experience person around here. Netgear is my choice. Very easy to setup and deal with.

To be fair most of my tasks are tasks I can easily jump in and out of 50 times a day.

If I had to do my job on a single monitor it would drive me crazy all day long. Even just a single computer would make it less organized for me to deal with.

I have a monitor for email and calendaring, one for lync conversations all in separate windows, one for my main this is what I am working on now screen. Laptop is for administrative duties (accounting etc.) Windows tablet is watching one forum. Ipad another. Phone for texting techs in the field and facebook. Spreading it all out helps keep me organized.

There does get to be a point where you can be trying to do too much. However as someone who just put in 3 large displays (pics to come as soon as my desk is clean). I have to say from the management side of things I have to keep track of so many people and what they are doing that I need to have multiple ways to do it. My goal is to get my monitors, laptop, smart phone and 2 tablets all front and center to watch and work from. Separating things out is how I keep organized.
