Wow people will do anything to get money.

This is awesome. The only place I didn't have it was on my Mac now I will. We use it for many things around and it has been an amazing business tool for everyone.

It mostly comes down to irresponsible parents. If they educated their children correctly on the use of the internet. If they taught them to be responsible and disciplined them they the issues that the public schools and kids deal with wouldn't even be there.

Very true @dashrender but again another difference is the lack of discipline in schools and at home for that matter. Children who learn early that their consequences are not painful (not necessarily physical) learn that can do what they want. That carries over in every aspect as well, learning they can do whatever they want and should get whatever they want cause they are special has just created a society they thinks they are owed something and do not have to do anything to get it.

While I have to somewhat agree with @psx_defector on this (I can't believe I just admitted that one), there are two sides to the story. There is also an overwhelming theory that if they change the environment than they can stop the bullying. Umm, well if you do not punish the kid doing the bullying then well it's going to continue, having to walk around a track is not punishment. Kids that think they can get away with whatever they want are running the schools.

Though on the other side of that if the backpack is getting the kid beat up as his parent wouldn't you want to protect him? The whole entire things is just messed up. Hence the reason homeschooling is growing everyday.

I probably would but the family would never forgive me for moving that far away again. So in the states I will stay, but will be taking a tropical vacation at some point.

I sorta fell into IT. My husbands best friend from highschool was really into them and got me interested. Granted my abilities are not anywhere near any of yours, I am a helpdesk tech only. I still really enjoy working around the technology but I get to boss around IT people all day which is almost as cool as playing with it all, and I get lots of gadgets to play with.

Yeah I really dislike living in NY. I want to move to somewhere warm so badly.

Not so warm today it is 35 though but snowing that really wet almost rain snow. But it is better than heavy snow and really cold.

On my 3rd cup from the Kureig today. Lots of caramel vanilla cream.

@scottalanmiller speak for yourself. I was up till 2am and back at it at 8am (albeit slow to get really moving) and will do it all over again tonight.

I was able to use a Chromebook for a bit. For a windows based business (we do 90% of everything on Office 365 architecture) it was difficult. However for checking email, and web based work it was awesome. Fast, easy to use, no upkeep. So for a google apps based business (which I have only seen a few of in my dealings) this is a great asset. For home use, email, FaceBook, watching movies it is also great. I have pointed technology illiterate family members to these and they all love them.

For me it's going out to hang out with friends and see a band. This weekend it is 2 nights in a row, of course that means tons of coffee to recover but it's lots of fun (oh and I skip the drinking part).

I have lived in both situations. I will take the nice weather over reliable lights.
