Rolling distros are kind of new, but I've seen some compelling discussions as to why they are the future for a lot of use cases.

Docker just does not work on CentOS, as I found out the hard way.
So I guess it's up to a sysadmin to get Collabora setup for themselves. uck.

That is screwed up. Something I hope docker and CentOS can address...

OwnCloud was an option but not my first choice.

FTA, they backported the fixed to v8.2 as well.

I did, and used it to sync some of my Google Drive stuff to my owncloud server 🙂

On a different note, we now have Ubuntu 16.04 packages in testing for the client and stable for the server 😉

And if you do not pay close attention to the screen when the yum update is running (or allow yum-cron to install), you will miss the warning and have to try and figure out WTF happened to your install.

not at all, it will refuse to run as we removed a bunch of old code abstracting the file system away to make it all work on Windows. This code was unmaintained, slow and buggy but without it data loss is immediate (rather than just 'likely, at some point').

Great stuff, eager to test it.

I've had to do it twice now... even though I know the password is correct it still seems to break somehow. Not sure if it is database corruption or what.
