TL;DR - free version with 1080p, $10/month for 4K Pro subscription. You buy the games, but if you pay for the 4K subscription there are some free games you get (like PS Plus). You can get the founders edition controller for $129 that includes 3 months of Pro subscription. Launches in November.

Deep Silver and YS Net defy Kickstarter backers and sign exclusive deal with Epic when Steam had been promised, refuse refunds.

Looks like exclusivity is likely to be for one year, but they won't say yet.

I was kinda hoping it would go on sale, but apparently the developers are keeping it full price for a while in order to provide free DLC. Not a bad tradeoff.
