Cpanel Price increases are leaving webhosting companies waving pitch forks. It is a complete different pricing model, a completely greedy pricing model.

It's only greedy if the customers decide that it is worth it and it maximizes profits.

cPanel is pretty awful. Companies using it feel lost. Like they are building businesses without any idea of what goes on underneath. Pretty much waving flags identifying themselves as prime targets for huge price increases because they self identify as depending totally on cPanel to build their business.

Microsoft asks to join private Linux security developer list

Microsoft's migration from Linux enemy to Linux friend continues in security circles.
Almost all of Linux's development work is conducted in the open. Almost.

                        LOL - that's not greed.

Georgia courts (mostly) shrug off ransomware attack

But a Florida city pays $600k in ransom and still faces $1m in security fixes.
A spokesman for Georgia's Administrative Office of the Courts has confirmed that the AOC's information technology team discovered ransomware on the organization's servers on Saturday.

Hmmm.... Is Levin talking about Azure? Don't know, but I think so. If so, I am trying to figure out why choose Azure over AWS or any others if doing Linux Systems?

Nope, because if I saw them at all, I just strolled on past knowing they didn't know dink about business class stuff.

There has been a switch (for a couple of months) in the admin portal to disable the automatic adding of Teams for SFB users, but it got turned on by default. I had to go in and disable it, as we left SFB/Teams for Slack.

Eternal Terminal – A Remote Shell That Automatically Reconnects Without Interrupting The Session

Eternal Terminal (ET) is a remote shell that automatically reconnects without interrupting the session.
Unlike the normal SSH session, ET session will survive even after the network outages or IP changes.

Ubuntu 19.10 Indeed Working On "Experimental ZFS Option" In Ubiquity Installer

It looks like in July we could finally see an "experimental ZFS" option within Ubuntu 19.10 and its daily images for those wanting an easy-to-use ZFS On Linux based installation of Ubuntu.
We've been anticipating Canonical to add this easy-to-use option for setting up a ZoL (ZFS on Linux) root file-system configuration when installing Ubuntu.
