The kids are play-doh at the kitchen table. Having some coffee now.

Just voted for the vendor Spicies. The "GG" awards are all people that I know. But of the five tech vendors that you are supposed to vote for, four I've never even seen in the community. So Fluke got the vote both because they do a good job and because I am aware of them in the community. The other four seem really random. Why are they on the list?

Mac OSX print server is going to be the death of me....

It is crashing the NFS service on a print controller. Prior to now it was only doing it when it restarted now it happens constantly. I'll make a new thread to see if others can lend a hand.

I was thinking more along the lines of interruptions in the middle of the game. 8-) I'd love to get into some online / tabletop stuff, but Most folks play during times when I will most likely get interrupted by a 4 year old or my wife, lol.
I have a 5 and 7 year old. One of the other players has a 6 and 4 year old kids.
I have always been really flexible with the game in general. We rarely had this problem from 1999 through 2008 as we were all single. But some of the less permanent players had families and I always work around it.
If you can do every other Tuesday from 7-11 central time you would be more than welcome to join.
Yea, that's what? 8 - midnight EST? I'm usually in bed by 10p on Tuesdays for Patch Wednesday (get up at 5am... ugh).
If an ML game gets started, make sure it don't happen on Tuesday nights, lol.

Trying to drown the voices of the chattiest employee here... he's less than 10 feet away, open office plan... drum n bass turned up really loud is helping, but I may need the sheer sonic density of metal to fix this problem...
..ahhh, that's better. Thank you, Meshuggah....

Dogs are barking cause I have a painter here today. Husband is learning Click Click Boom on the guitar, in the garage (other side of my office wall).

Sitting outside on the balcony giving my feet a much needed break. Have some coffee. Overcast and I think that it might be sprinkling. The sun is bright over the ocean, though.

Getting a few articles done that are way overdue.

Tell him to leave the server alone... we have had enough stress over that thing since it came back from Toronto...

do you post a list of what you're publishing here anywhere?

@Dashrender I know he has several... but smbitjournal.com is the only one that I have seen regularly mentioned, lol... Usually when something involving a SAN or various RAID versions comes up, lol.

So... I realized something last night... A couple of weeks ago, I wiped my laptop and ran Fedora and then Linux Mint and went back to Windows 10 because I couldn't get the Graphics Card in my laptop working with Ubuntu... Then I realized something... I was using the wrong driver for my video card, lol.
I've got one of those new fandangled NVIDIA Optimus setups where it runs Intel graphics for general stuff, and then activates NVIDIA when 3d-hefty apps are run (in Windows, at least)...
I went back last night and tried the Bumblebee drivers for Feodra 22, and after waging war with SELinux (it is set for permissive until i can figure out how to fix the error), I am able to ditch the Microsoft tax for my laptop... Most everything I want runs great under Wine, lol.
