Trying to find a Mac installer for a windows based software - I haven't been able to find one yet.
My next thought is to have them install a hypervisor and create a windows based machine in the hypervisor and install the software there. than they'd have to spin up the VM and run the software.. and these aren't the brightest people..
decisions decisions.Thankfully I found it in the Apple store on my Support iPad.. Having them check now.
Never mind, they can download it but it doesn't load anything like it is supposed to .

decisions decisions. With Mac, the hypervisor can be completely transparent to the user. You put a desktop icon for the Windows software on the main desktop, and the user never even knows they're running under a different OS.
Of course, you have to pay for the hypervisor(s) that enable that for Mac. Just a cost of using the platform.
interesting. I did not know that.
which one do you recommend?I think we used Parallels.
That was going to be my recommendation.
A close second would be VMware Fusion.

Windows software running without Windows AND without AMD64 hardware would be a challenge of epic proportions. I think if someone had a Windows emulator that didn't even require PC hardware that it would be much bigger news.

There has been an ARM in beta for years. Otherwise some of Microsoft's own hardware wouldn't function!

That's for the OS, not for apps running on it.

Man the dumbest users and always the rudest. There's something about competence that makes people nice.

Salmon candy?
There's two words I never expected to see together.Initial reaction is eeewww, but I suspect that there's a reason that you're making it.

Ok, maybe salmon jerky might be slightly more accurate. This batch is for my friend's birthday, it is his standing birthday request. Recipe linked below.
Pro tip: use sockeye salmon (preferably wild caught), it has a firmer texture that stands up better in this preparation.
