Watching Freezing Rain . the worst. One kid is playing ARC: Evolution, Another playing something like Fortnite as I can hear him thumping his desk -
I'm coughing on the smoke from the laser cutter/engraver. But learning how to use it a little at a time - this is only day two of having a computer connected to it - damn Windows Updates. Laptop has been 'Microsoft' three times now. I've turned updates and hibernate off... screw this.
Might see about the software I need to run the radio and unbox my new to me radio, a Yaesu FT-891 with MFJ Tuner. ...
Oh - and killing posts and the poster.

@gjacobse Im doing the VHF conteest today from home, tons of noise not many contacts. Waiting for our big 12-18 inches of snofall they're predicting overnight and I have an appoint I have to be at tommorow no matter what

The only contest I participate in really is Field Day. I am hoping for a better run this year that the last three. Wasn't a radio issue, a computer / antenna issue... I think the snow here is pettered out,.. disappointing.

Went into the office today - based on CDC guidelines for covid exposure etc since it was 5 days since i started experiencing symptoms etc - Boss sent me home to work because I haven't been tested - test was setup for 3:50pm today.
So i'm working from home until the test results come back. -

I've seen only a bit about him - no real idea what the issue is, other than over staying the initial stay / visa. Time to do some reading I suppose..
