Nope. The point is you responded incorrectly.
Was CW correct in anything aside from the reboot question? No.
But that is 100% the first that should have happened, and been included in your first response to CW.

Thank you, as far as I can tell we made it through without damage and still have power. My brother in law wasn’t as fortunate but are all safe.
Snapped power pole on their road, damage to their pool deck, car, and seemingly small stuff. House across from them last the roof, barn flattened,…
We are in a state of emergency, western Kentucky took it in the face and early estimates put the loss of life high…
A record no one wants.

It is insane that it is the middle of December and this severe weather struck. i can't seem to get the imbedded video so I'll just leave this link to the local news.

Several states - nearly 200 miles gone.

Thanks for the info. Man, that's rough. How close were you to where it rambled around?

Ain't that the truth. Already patched one vCenter for Log4J, and checked several other apps. Got another vCenter, and 4 Horizon View systems to patch. Gonna be a busy week.

The closest serious damage was about 25 miles away in Danville, the major damage was 130 and 250 miles away - ((As the Crow Flies.))

Just got done setting up 4 new guest VLANs and WiFi networks for them along with all the Ubiquiti updates that haven't been done. Said client had not had a contact before this year (billed per support call) and is now under contract, so we're actually managing their stuff now.

Dell sheds Vmware and immediately it has major issues. Coincidence?

Oh, you have no idea... (Or maybe you do if you have any vCenters that you manage)... Ugh. VMswear has been a real PITA lately.
We've had a lot of problems with machines randomly not releasing file locks when they get migrated from one server to another... It's caused us no end of grief. It started with 7.0 Update 3...

Heading to East Atlanta to see one of my favorite heavy psych bands.... REZN!!!! They're heavy, doom-ey, stoner metal with synths and saxophone.

At a client site to move equipment around and update user accounts. Also powering off the old server today, they've moved everything they need into Office 365.
