What the fuck, heads are going to roll

      I don't envy that daycare

server maintenance in my sloppy casual weekend at home attire, coz it's saturday morning.

ate pizza for tea last night, looking over the east beach at port fairy. the tide was way in and smashing against the rocks.

          happy saturday morning everyone.

              Sounds pretty good there.

The autumn sun is up with a gentle warmth.
Not a puff of breeze to detract from it.

              It’s quiet and peaceful.

Also, while I think of it @siringo , that’s a good looking spot over there.

You still planning on that epic drive down the Canning Stock route?

@nadnerb yes, it's very high on the list.
Not this year though, I don't think the aboriginal communities are opening up???
Plus, last time I looked, it was extremely wet where the track goes, so it'd be a bit too muddy for me.
                  Maybe 2022??

Got the dietPi system updated and refreshed.

The tool set is pretty decent for a really lightweight system. I just realized that CUPS isn't a part of it,.. but that's easy enough to address. Have an old Dymo 350 Turbo I need to use,.. might as well attach it to it also. Need to check the UPS status / test the battery.

I bet. I'm working on parring down the desk and sort out things no longer needed (the kids are 14 and 10 (twins). We don't need some of the stuff from 6-8 years ago anymore.

PSA: Hyper-V server 2019 auto installs the pagefile on the D drive (if present). This can cause enormous issues if that's the big partition that holds VHDX files and shared storage. Had 2 VMs that just wouldn't start, the pagefile was the problem. Used to move it to C, great success!

Just inherited a vSphere 5.5 system running Windows 2012 R2 on several systems! Damn, this was about to be deployed as a new production platform! Everything is 6+ years out of date!

Yeet, that sounds like a fun project. Hope it’s not directly time sensitive.

Running a 3-D printer while I work on some other Linux projects. Not exactly sure where I’m going with some of this.
