Anybody know how to fix the Windows 10 bug that makes it not connect to an L2TP VPN? I found a registry fix and tons of other suggestions, none have worked.
What's the Windows 10 bug that makes it not work with L2TP?
L2TP VPN works fine with my Windows 10 machine to my EdgeRouter X.W10 v1903 killed my VPN. v1909 works fine.
I'm on 1909, patches all up to date, still no love. But from what I read, it's been an issue since 1809.
Delete any pre-existing VPN connections and recreate them.
I've setup W10 Home that had 1903, would not work. It updated to 1909 and it worked with no further modification to the VPN settings.

I have done this multiple times, and the laptop I'm working on was a fresh install of 1909. I guess I need to inspect the settings on the one laptop that actually can connect, but that guy isn't here today.
Super DERP moment - gotta use the correct PSK, the old one won't work anymore. Glad my boss remembered changing it.

Yikes.
a lot of my restaurants are closing their doors due to 10 person Max .
carry out only... no reason to close - but also don't need wait staff.

True - But there's a few that don't do carry out or to go . and a lot of them are known for good drinks and a great time

LOL - well, they either change, or they close up and possibly die because they are unwilling to change...

helping my brother navigate the unemployment website. His major chain restaurant announced very abruptly yesterday they were fully closing (no takeout/delivery) and he's been "furloughed" until further notice. No vacation time, no severance, last paycheck is in the mail yada yada yada.

That blows. Check around your area for anyone doing something like this:
-
Thanks I will pass that on

That was the wrong post, but that same organization is offering free meals to service industry workers that are laid off.
-
a chain just sent a notice - for every $100 in giftcards you buy, we'll give $30 to waitstaff.
-
Dentist just called and tried to postpone my cracked tooth extraction... hell no, this isn't an elective procedure. So I get to go in Thursday instead of Friday.

Rachel, that some of you met at Spiceworld last year, is sitting on the tarmac about to fly from Chicago to Brussels. She's making it over just hours before the border closes.

My wife was told she is not working for the foreseeable future.
Do you interpret that as she should begin looking for another job? In a way those words could/can mean termination.
I hope things get better.

Not unless they go out of business.
