Played a little more D&D with the kids last night.
How did you introduce them to D&D?

They used to watch us play, we used to host a group here at the house. Some time ago, but they both remember and have always wanted to play. So getting them interested wasn't a challenge. They are both big time video gamers too, both have played games like Skyrim since around age six. So lots of the mechanics are a bit second nature, too.
For my eldest's birthday, we got her the Starter Set, Essentials Set, and the Player's Handbook. And we are giving them a "dice buying trip" sometime in the next week or two to go get their own dice (they have cheap stuff from the kits, but to get nice exciting dice and bags for them.)

We're extremely slow at work right now.
So I'm planning my leg day work out at the gym tonight .Way to not skip leg day! lol
What is it about everyone wanting to skip leg day? I like leg day much better than arms day.
100% I'd rather do squats then bench.

yeah, my legs are normally sore longer than my arms are... sometimes two or even three days after leg day...
Our gym does legs two times week one, then one time week two.. arms are the opposite - week one, arms one time, week two - arms two times.

Using Minecraft as an Educational Tool
-
@black3dynamite Yep it's all the rage. I don't know what the heck they learn from it, IT in (junior) Education is a big con I reckon, but what would I know, 2/5's of bugger all at best.
-
actually it's interesting. I've been involved with IT in schools for 10 years & a report has just been released down here showing how students results, nationally, in the basics, reading, maths, science have continually fallen over the past 10 years.
In my 10 years I've seen students using more & more IT each year and more and more teaching is being done with YouTube. -

post on another forum about a trip to the doctor.
advert for doctor in the suburb where my ISP supplied IP address tracks to, shows up in FB
read post on another forum about a bloke who's just put in a concrete floor for a new shed he's building.
advert for concreter shows up on FB.
this is getting out of hand.
am I being stupid if I begin to look for a secure browser? -

am I being stupid if I begin to look for a secure browser?uBlock Origin, and a PiHole (https://mangolassi.it/tags/pi-hole) work wonders.
Also, logging out of BookFace when you're not using it is also good. -
