@gjacobse My best advice for Win10 is to get you some imaging software and make your own image where things are the way you want it. Getting rid of all the apps and stuff you don't want at the start is critical. It will take a while but when you deploy it you will know what to expect. Win10 is a pain but thats the best way around it I know of.
I fully agree with you @jmoore - what really irks me is that the system was working fine (nothing is perfect) last week before I made the decision to work from Fedora the remaining part of the week.
I went back to Win10, and it was borked. It's a Dual boot system on a 120 SSD, on a system that isn't 100% reliable as it will randomly reboot.
There are days I would like to take it out back and put a block of thermite in it, and let it go.. But - it's been otherwise decent.
The issue right now is that the Video drivers are toast - It's an ASUS A88xm-e - be even with downloading the drives again, doesn't work.
sigh.. oh well.

@wrcombs Yeah cold brew is good. I had one yesterday

Angry as F... as Windows 10 has been lost - again... damn thing can't figure out what video is on the ASUS board anymore.. that means that everything is borked again. This angers me of course as I did have things to do in Windows, but will be forced to rely on Fedora until I can decide what I want to do with it... Nuke it or just... This PC is really staring to grind my ...
now,.. Guess that I am back, and mostly working,.. It's time for a MY Monday.. sigh..
Virtualize the Windows instance?
Uhm.. nah.. I keep Windows for a few things... Fortnite is one..

First time trying it out, although it is from the local QuikTrip, It isnt as bad as i thought it would have been.

@gjacobse Dang that sucks. What Ive seen is that any time Windows does updates is that it will reset a lot of settings and mess with printer drivers. For example, we use Dell printers here and everything had been working fine for a few weeks then I get a work ticket from a lady who couldn't print. I go and look and the printer is trying to use the xps print driver instead of the one it is supposed to use. The lady said it had just got done updating and let her log in. Since that first time I know what to watch for now and have seen it several times since then from other users.
So yeah its a pain. Can't stop updates though. I just have to learn the symptoms and work around it.

XPS driver or the stupid WPS instead of the proper UNC.. WPS addresses are a lame..
yea,.. in this case, can't roll back since there isn't enough space to keep them. guess I'll have to re-install it ...again. Which I've not ever done ...so will have to do some reading on.

If you can find the Stok brand of cold brew (check the grocery store), it's actually quite good. My recipe is better and way more caffeinated, so I definitely suggest making your own.

Shitty hardware will cause issues no matter what. . . so complaining about it is rather pointless.

I had a cold brew at Breakfast Republic last weekend. It was good, but it's still nothing like the coffee we make in the french press. That thing makes it so rich and flavourful.

On train home after a positive visit to a Scale customer.
Think my colleagues are seeing the benefits now instead of Nimble and NetApp

Positive in what way? (Not that I'm saying expect bad things, just asking for more details).
