If folks would quit breaking Outlook, I could actually work on the VoIP project this morning.
Force them to use OWA for a little bit... They'll quit breaking Outlook, lol.

@dafyre Ha.

Finally some rain here again. Give the AC unit a little break.

We had a heat index of 111 heading into midnight last night!

There was a bit of sarcasm in there, but the AC doesn't feel like its working at all. So humid and hot right now.

Try going for a MTB ride for 1.5h at 9am, then start yard work at 11:30am, then head to BBQ at 2:30PM with not much cover. Very hot and sunny day for me.

What error should you see if you're attempting to connect to a Hyper-V Server 2016 server from a Windows 7 PC. I have been told you can't do this, but I'm wondering if it tells you that or if it just gives you a generic error.

Don't know, it lacks the communications protocol so none of us try it as it can't work. Why do you care? You know it won't work, so whatever error you see, that's the one.

From win 7/8 it will sorta connect, but many functions simply do not work. I tried it just to get started while building a win 10 system for work, and it didn't throw many errors, it just simply refused to do anything.

Because I'm getting an error related to the RPC service of the server, but that service is running. Tempted to install Hyper-V Server 2012 just to see. Seems way to specific to be an incompatibility issue.

Did we not tell you jsut last week that you cannot do this?
If it wasn't you, then we did jsut tell someone else this exact thing last week.
FFS people stop using old ass shit.

That was the only error I saw. That system will connect to 2012, or you need win 10 to connect to 2016.

Would now be a good time to replace my company's POTS lines with a T1?
