I spell fresh pasta downstairs.
You spelled it on the fridge with letter magnets or something?
Yes! Have you never done this before? You should do it with subtlety and see how long it takes before somebody wants what you wrote on the fridge.

Could be worse, I could have used pasta to do the spelling!

That was my original thought.

We still have 2 XP machines.... until today. One of them just went tits up (no boot drive error), and I will be glad to get this POS out of here. Now if we could just dump the customer we have that "requires" us to use IE6 and an OLD version of Team Viewer to access their stuff...

I take it you didn't want to fix that boot issue? lol

Not gonna happen. I'm mostly sure it's the drive gone bad, but I'll pretend to investigate. This is just the system that logs the card swipes at each door, I told them 2 years ago that I had the newest software version that would run on Win 7/8, but they wouldn't give me a spare desktop to upgrade it. I may let it go for a while to see if anyone notices it's not there.

This is a pretty silly post. Can't tell if the vendor is trolling or really that stupid.

My vote is for "really that stupid".

About 10/40 people showed up today because of snow. Definitely going home early.

Seems like they don't know their market at all. To add to it, then advertise on SW. Seems like they need to advertise more on business sites.

I hate it when I get caught in the fain....

And you can't turn the fain off?

I am feigning interest in your fain posts...

I don't even need a jacket today... in Ohio... the beginning of February. We haven't really had a winter here this year, 3 inches of snow once that melted the next day.

They seem like one of Gartner's core demographic.

Why is Adobe reader on a machine that has full blown Acrobat Pro?

In my case it would always be that way because reader is part of a standard build.
