Sorry for the confusion- its a development server, but i still need to make sure that these are updated with minimal downtime. I am trying to push the AD changes to some other time at least wait for the dev team to complete the tasks in hand, but not very sure if they will stop it just for us

Just found out about this site - thanks for the ioSafe mention. Perfect application btw. The ioSafe 214 now comes with drive options - all new loaded ioSafe NAS products contain WD Red Drives by default and have for several months now. We'll be working on updating the product description in the field over time. Also, all NAS units can be ordered with Enterprise Grade Drives as an option.

Redundant NICs are an option on the 1515+ but not the 214.

It does not. AD and GPO are separate things.

Wish I could be helpful I haven't had a need to do this since... 2010? And that was for college.

I do remember that everyone was struggling with Ubuntu to get it connected to AD but CentOS (which is what I was using at the time) worked flawlessly.

Really? I could see this being useful in my case where I have 4 remote locations using Site to Site, and for my mobile users they could use Pertino.

Bind error is found when a client does a dcdiag to the server.

By turning the device into a multi-user device. That's AD's function, to make things easily multi-user.

I logged into my O365 in Word - now I see my SharePoint site, and my business OneDrive... and there is the personal one drive, but it wants me to log into that (seems odd).

Is there a way to get OneDrive for Business into Windows Explorer like there is for OneDrive for home users?

I incorrectly started my GPOs in the default GP 10 years ago... like you I've moved away from this practice completely allowing me greater flexibility where needed.
