      Well it is pretty early yet but no showstopping issues. And CloudatCost is watching and soliciting feedback very strongly here which is a great sign. It's a nascent service from an established vendor, so I'd expect some bumps along the road.

      I've had several setup issues with the initial box builds failing in a couple different ways (probably all one way but with it showing up a few different ways.) But those are minor, you just hit the rebuild till it works. Haven't seen an issue yet once it is built. So "pre-build" issues only cause a small delay in getting an initial system set up, which to me is minor. Should be addressed, sure, but it's minor as it does not impact running production.

      But it is early yet, testing is just getting started.

        Thanks for the update @scottalanmiller . I currently use digitalocean and (knock on wood) have never ran into any issues. The price that cloudatcost offers is really attractive and makes me want to switch, but I don't want to jump on board if its going to cause me headaches.

            @lance from my testing I wouldn't use it for much anything outside of dev/testing or personal sites. The network performance is a bit sporadic for me.

                        @Hubtech Thanks I will keep an eye on the twitter feed. I know they have a small team but it would be nice to email customers when they have an issue. I don't have anything important on there so it isn't a big deal.

                            Ok... so at least this helps me verify that monitor.us still works after injecting CloudFlare into the mix.

                                  As many of you already know, we are currently having an issue with an upstream provider at our data center. Our technicians are working on this.

                                  I will keep you all updated with any information I receive.

                                    Thanks for letting us know Aman, in the intro video you posted a bit ago it mentioned you had redundant upsteam providers. Did something not flip over correctly?

                                          I was wondering about feedback on why a single ISP failure took down the entire cloud rather than failing over to another ISP. I would expect a few seconds disruption and slower performance, not an outage from just Rogers being offline.
