Planning where my new 370 machines are going between our 3 campuses.
On desks?
in the bathrooms ?
then they can handle their own setups lol
I glanced over this and thought you wrote 'their own sceptics'

Since @scottalanmiller mentions Chromebooks a lot - A friend bought 2 Dell laptops with Win 10 and called me because she couldn't install anything on them. The disk was "full" and no free space. They were "refurbished" as I later found out. I think someone imaged with with W 10 instead of ChromeOS. They have been sitting on a shelf for about a year.

Could also be a partition thing, where they didnt get full disk space when they imaged/formatted.
-
@jmoore I verified that. Still didn't believe it so I opened it up and double verified with the physical disk. It had a 32gb chip soldered to the board. Can't even upgrade it.
-
Dell through WalMart was selling some dirt cheap Windows 10 laptops about a year ago; my Mother-in-Law almost bought till I look at the specs; 4GB ram and 32GB SSD with "Windows 10 OS". Wonder if that's what your friend has. Probably got re imaged with 10 pro and not home or whatever version uses less disk space.
-
Getting through the day to get back to RHCSA prep.
-
Another crazy busy day. Ugh.

LOL, what?

LOL, what?
Yep. Next time I go there I am going to get the model number and specs.

yet another COVID Curveball - which I agree with even if it screws me completely over ;
Public Schools are 100% remote learning- My son's district will more than likely follow suit and go remote only as well.Which screws me cause I dont have a a daycare to that extent that will also teach him the things he needs to know

But he's still doing school, right? In theory there should be online education, just done from the daycare instead of from home? Or will it just be missed?

When you say Daycare, how old would your son be? Pre-K?

My wife is a teacher and we are in a similar boat. Mine are older but still need someone home to make sure they are productive. I am fortunate to work for a company that allows me to work from home. Does your place of employment have this capability?

They let me in the past, but it doesn't look like they will allow that again - They only did because we were so much slower at the time.
