      Avma does not work on Hyper-V Server.

      You'll need to install Hyper-V role on Windows Server DC if that is a must have among any other DC only features.

        You'll need to install Hyper-V role on Windows Server DC if that is a must have among any other DC only features.

                I don't believe so, but my situation was different.

                  I think that since each imaged VM would get a unique ID, you would need to reactivate each one. Should be able to use the DC license to do that.

                    No that doesn't work, because after sysprep you need to "activate" the OS with MS. This would strip the key.

                      You have a DC license, so you can spin up a VM that does nothing but act as a KMS for your other server VMs.
