@scottalanmiller : Yep.. and the page for the mobile hasn't been updated in months (re: we think we have a fix for Android...)
There's a bunch of posts about the desktop app on Windows not notifying users of calls as well, but it has no problem notifying users that a voicemail is now waiting.. 🙂

@manxam sounds like they lost some focus there.

Just cuz I was curious, Sangoma lets you check the page history/revisions. That note re: not getting calls and potential fix was added Aug 28th, 2018. Glad to see they're keeping on top of development...

Zulu is closed source. Not really unexpected to have no updates.

True. Closed source small projects nearly always turn to abandonware, if they weren't vaporware to start with. They sure push it hard for not even existing yet!

Contrary to the complaint above, I have found the Windows app works very well. The Linux app used to work on Fedora, 26 I think. They apparently test only Ubuntu.

There has never been a promise or timeline made for the mobile apps. Anyone expecting anything on that front is operating in their own little fantasy.

Anyone with any knowledge of FreePBX history should know that nothing has ever been produced quickly by the FreePBX team.

That's the main use case of softphones, though. Like 95% I would guess. Softphones for the desktop are way more niche.

I totally disagree. Softphone on the desktop is by far the largest user base thanks to call centers.

Softphone on mobile is a far second to that.

Maybe overall, but for FreePBX? FreePBX is pretty rare in call centers, AFAIK.
