This is HR's shindig. We're just following orders. They want the people to enter their own information. Especially for potentially 400 people.

Sure, but now HR will have to sit with those who don't own a computer and help them figure out how to use it to enter the data. So you're spending time/money there either way.

Sure, but now HR will have to sit with those who don't own a computer and help them figure out how to use it to enter the data. So you're spending time/money there either way.
Probably not as much as you'd think. We do a similar thing here. They have one HR employee to babysit 10-15 computers during these events.
