@scottalanmiller : You missed the most important thing!
Voice controlled microwaveI have no idea why this is a thing.. Is talking to Alexa faster than just hitting 3-0-Start or the "Popcorn" button?
I mean, you still have to put the popcorn IN the thing.... -
It sure is a dream come true - for NSA.

Who is this even aimed at if schools no longer teach kids how to read analog clocks?

I've heard plenty of people I know with kids complain about schools not teaching cursive or how to read a clock anymore.

I don't believe cursive should be taught, or that it should have ever been taught. It's just sloppy writing that isn't appropriate for anything important and school shouldn't teach how to be lazy and sloppy instead of giving kids an education. I think cursive has always been a "filler" skill used to give teachers something easy to teach that requires no skills, while eating up loads of school time to keep kids busy without needing to teach something hard like life skills, math, politics, etc.
Analogue clocks, however, are important for understanding how time works and much of the world still uses analogue clocks. Also, it takes almost no time to teach, unlike cursive which takes loads of time.

All of the wall clocks in out house are analog. Four of them.
As many of the digital clocks as I can are set to 24 hour time.
Yes, I hate my kids.
