What Are You Doing Right Now

trying to figure out why the Front of House Termianals all of a sudden cant talk to the Back of house server...
Everything that I can think of that would stop communication is either set up to allow or turned off..Makes for a frustrating after noon.

this is weird. I can do a ping of the Ip Address, can go from the back office to the terminal. but not the other way
I can see it going through one hop usingtracert hostnamebut its still not letting us communicate -
I seem to just hit a brick wall for energy around 3:30-4. Always try to think of ways I can still be productive during this time, but when it hits, it's almost like your mind is blank, and you can't think a thought even when you try lol.

Thats the thing, already checked that multiple times on both Back office and Front of house.

Sounds like the firewall on the back office piece is on, or there is a firewall device between them blocking traffic from reaching the back office piece.

Thats the thing, already checked that multiple times on both Back office and Front of house.
Sounds like the firewall on the back office piece is on, or there is a firewall device between them blocking traffic from reaching the back office piece.
its not the OS firewall at this point.

@dbeato Nope, just nobody emailed me with any issues today.
I guess two in my inbox to be precise. I have rules so that autogenerated emails from servers and services go into folders when theyre received, i usually ignore them unless an issue exists. -

This sums up Word more than anything I've ever known.
WordPerfects show-codes feature needs to make an appearance. Of course it could be all over the place and I might not know about it today because it's been since high-school that a word processor mattered that much to me.
