Nope. Not ever. I am quite familiar with the author and the premise of the books. I read a decent sample of book one years and years ago and said nope.
I am an avid reader of the sci/fi and fantasy genres, with a library of ~1000 physical books, but I do not like that series.

I was interested. Tried the books. They were horrible. I couldn't finish the first one. Never seen the show. But have accidentally been to several of their filming locations.
