We started testing MS Teams for our group chats. I'm not overly impressed yet, but I haven't really put it through the paces yet. One thing I really like about teams is the continuous chat log.

Looked at that, was not impressed.

Yeah, I wouldn't say I'm impressed either. We just are giving it an evaluation because it comes with our licensing.

@BBigford do you mean for chat, or for vid/conf?
I rarely conference call or video chat, but often screen share. Haven't looked into ScreenHero having the conference portion. With how group driven Slack is, if it doesn't have it currently, that'll come.

We have a WebEx subscription, so our guys use that. I rarely have to mess with it, but it's OK I guess. Users rarely ask me for help with it, so I assume that means it works most of the time.

If you didn't know, Slack had actually consulted Microsoft on that project. It was a flurry on forums when it was coming around. Though a Slack dev/project manager, can't remember, threw a low blow in a side interview and said "we could give them an exact design of Slack and they would still release a poor product."

And that's essentially exactly what happened. It's like a really crappy Slack copy.

I have started using Uber Conference recently. Seems pretty good so far. Nothing to download just sign into the web link and go. The free option seems to work well too. Have only used it a couple times so not a huge sampling yet.

We use Skype for Business as our primary means of communication within the company, and HipChat for inter-department communications for all things IT. We are going to be canning HipChat here in a couple of weeks when we move to Microsoft Teams
HipChat is buggy and I don't recommend it to anyone; horrible unintuitive user experience. I'm not a Skype fan either, but that decision is outside of our sphere of influence so we have to deal with it. I'm hoping Microsoft Teams offers at least the same functionality as HipChat without the bugs. If that happens I'll be happy enough.

We used HipChat at Change for a while. I didn't like it either too much. Nice interface, but that was about it.

Same. We have on premise skype for business. I never had a big problem with it, but it never wowed me with anything.
It is nice how their status shows up in outlook though.
