On the phone with Microsoft. It appears that there is an outage that was reported yesterday. Our services appear to be a part of said outage.

Will post an ETA if there is one shared.

No confirmed ETA as of currently.

The soft guess is "Monday" at some point.

          The incident issue is

EX89732 Jan 7, 2017 4:35 PM Restoring service Title: Can't sign in to Skype for Business in Outlook on the web

User Impact: Users in hybrid Skype deployments may be unable to chat or sign in to Skype for Business from Outlook on the web.

Current status: The deployment of the fix is approximately 80 percent complete. We're monitoring the infrastructure to ensure the deployment progresses as expected.

Scope of impact: A few customers have reported this issue, and our analysis indicates that impact is specific to on-premises Skype for Business Server customers configured with hybrid environments.

Start time: Monday, December 26, 2016, at 12:00 AM UTC

Preliminary root cause: An Outlook on the web update to improve feature performance resulted in a code issue that unexpectedly impacted Skype authentication for users in hybrid deployments.

Ha.. yes they did and there were additional configuration changes made so that users are authentication against out on premise server, but the cached records that O365 collects.

And there is a new issue that I've been dealing with for a few days (4) were we apparently can't sync users / password / dl changes etc.

Even though the sync says everything is functional.
