heat map for a home

I think my house is in need of new windows, the main living spaces are pretty cold right now.
Has anyone had a heat map done for their house?

You can get a free house assessment from your municipality. I'm drawing the blank on the exact name for the one here in Rochester, maybe Rochester Works.
But they'll come out, and asses the items in your house, and give you recommendations on items to replace first.
They can also work with you and provide recommendations for contractors and materials.
Alternatively you can rent a heat map gun from your local home depot and see what areas of the house are the coldest.

The program @DustinB3403 is thinking of is done through NYSERTA. https://www.nyserda.ny.gov/
Your state may have a similar program. You power authority or local HVAC contractors should know more. -

Works for me. I'm sick of these temperatures. I like the cool, but not the super cold.

Works for me. I'm sick of these temperatures. I like the cool, but not the super cold.
NJ is pretty frigid right now when I'm walking in the morning with my iced coffee

This would be interesting. I have 3 zones for heat in my house and I never know what to set for the best efficiency.
Ex: the bedroom zone is set to 58, but the thermostat is in a room with a closed door. If I leave it closed, it makes the bedroom where I am nice and toasty...sometimes too toasty. If I simply open the door, it is getting the heat from the living room zone, and cools down the bedroom where I am. I worry that I am using too much oil if I leave the door open.
Saving $$$ on the oil is an issue...especially where I am. It got down to 3 degrees last night and was at 0 on Friday. Normal lows in January is 12, but it's been pretty cold this month so who knows how cold it will get!
