I am currently waiting for Friday! I just got off the phone with a support guy for one of the software packages we use here.

He was surprisingly competent with their software and everything else... but he's still just as stumped as I am, lol.

      Blackbaud/Financial Edge?

Mighty close... Blackbaud / Raiser's Edge.

      Knew it. lol

Ha ha ha. I take it you have experience with their support as well?

We both work for NPO's. I know the struggle all too well

      Actually, not quite... I don't think. I'm in a State school here...Wouldn't a state school be for-profit?

It depends on the school I would guess. Raiser's edge is fund raising software so it could be for either.

Good point... But yeah, I'm hoping for the guys to be able to point me in the right direction for a few things. I've been bashing my head against this problem for a month now.

I wish I were more knowledgeable in regards to databases because those are my main issues. I can't tell if it's the queries being set up incorrectly or if the software is just bad in general. I went over all of the documentation and did everything as per their best practices.

The software is not the worst I've seen... but their Scheduled Job Processor doesn't seem to play nicely with our stuff... but I have a feeling that an uninstall-reinstall will fix that.

My day was going well until I get an E-mail stating my Car insurance has been cancelled as of yesterday! (So basically drove to working uninsured)
Phoned them up to ask why to be told they have not received my NCB proof. Funny as I had an E-mail from them stating they have and my account has been updated! Explained this to them and even gave them the date and time the e-mail confirming came in (even said I could get message id numbers if they wanted 🙂 )
Anyway after 20mins and 2 people all sorted and a very apologetic supervisor car insurance reinstated.

But after this I will not be using them again.

Configuring some Unifi AC Pro units ready for deployment and setting up with a NPS server 🙂
Time to bloke all these bloody mobile phones off my network!

So I just finished rebuilding my NFS/SMB server and am now testing everything with XO to confirm it's functional.

Hopefully those I/O issues were VM based.

That would call for an immediate afternoon nap.

Yum.... I'm getting up at 8 on saturday to smoke many pork shoulders... maybe we should make some mac n chee to go with the pulled pork (because I've had that before and it rules!)

I've considered building a smoker but couldn't justify with the women-friend.
