Windows 10 disable sleep/hibernation
-
Anyone here dealt with disabling sleep/hibernation globally from Windows 10? I found some instructions on what to change in the registry for Windows 8.1, but they don't seem to work on Windows 10.

I can demo on my VM if you need.

On the systems I have workred with recently, I go to Power settings
Then adjust accordingly:
You can go to Additional Power settings and adjust other settings.

Sadly that is only at a per user level.
So if a different user logs in, then logs out.. those setting you made on the first user don't apply, until they log back in and then out.

Do it with a GPO thats what we do, we don't "disable" them just set the computer not to do it automaticly, and not to allow the user to unless they are on battery. It's still part of the power plans like always.

powercfg -h off

I keep forgetting about Preferences. Awesome advancements in GPO there!
