because your hate yourself?
Nope....
Some kind of legacy need?
@coliver said in What Are You Doing Right Now:
Because one of you webapps requires IE6?
Nope to both of you, think more XP Pro application specific. Something Scott uses as a first means of communication.
Outlook Express?
Ding ding ding Winner Winner chicken dinner.

What the heck do you need OE for?

Sadly, to convert the date stamps of existing emails (.msg) converted to .eml to create a PST for future use. (client stuff)
It's sadly, easier than creating 20 user accounts to email 1 user account to create a PST to then export it...

@scottalanmiller said in What Are You Doing Right Now:

Seriously... can't you import Outlook Express files into Thunderbird?
-
You can, but you can't create a PST file if I recall correct.
Which is what I need.... sadly...

Yes, but only if you have OE installed and running on the system.......

Yep. Can't tell you how unhappy I was when looking over the Thunderbird documentation for that.

Self-loathing at an all-time high. I decided every time I feel really negative I'm going to buy my fiance a rose. The more miserable I am the more romantic I am

Life is all about channeling your negative energy into something constructive I find
-
You could always channel your negative energy into cutting my lawn for me.
-
I loathed having to create 30+ email accounts to create a PST so I resurrected XP and exported emails to .eml and then imported them into OE, and then exported the whole thing to Outlook so I could create a PST with modernish date stamps

I live in NJ which has, and I'm spit-balling here, 80% of the countries land fills. Lawn care isn't a thing here. It's mad max in NJ. There's a reason my state is always the butt of every Futurama joke.

FTFY. And my sincere condolences for your current location

Wishing I was in another job.
Me: Can you reboot the router and see if that brings your connection back?
Store: We don't have a router
Me: Yes you do as you connect to HO via a MPLS
Store: I can't see any boxes with lights, but can see Netgear Switch with 4 cables.
Me: OK follow those cables one will go to the router
Store: they go under the desk somewhere
Me: yes but at the end will to devices, one will be a router
Store: Can't find it we have no box
..........................................................No I'm not driving 2hrs to the store to find it and reboot it!!!!!
Bad mood now!
Biggest issue with this is - they have rebooted the router in the past! the MPLS has been there for 3 years and all stores have rebooted at least 4/5 times! -

David Attenborough voice "What we are witnessing here is an untamed User in it's natural habitat. The keeper has to be careful to not use too many big words, or technical language, or else the user might get spooked and break everything. They are simple creatures, and have to be dealt with carefully, so as to avoid any further issues." -
