What Are You Doing Right Now
-
@Dashrender
LOL, Snow or no snow,.. I work.But i hear that @ataylor14 is looking for some.
-
I'm trying to get myself motivated to do some stuff... its hard when I'm leaving for vacation this week.
-
@Dashrender please send winter to the southeast. It's nearly 70 here today, and I feel really bad for the cherry trees that have now bloomed 3-4x since "winter" started this year. Our spring bloom will basically be nonexistent if this warm weather keeps up.

Please send that into the Ohio Valley....
At least you've had some snow in the Ohio Valley this year. NE Ohio is ~35 inches short of our 45 inch average. I think I'm the only one complaining tho.

FTDI just released new windows drivers which will mess with counterfit chips.... again....
If you're having issues in the next day or three with anything that might be custom / one off / small production and uses USB -> Serial stuff - now you know why.

Interesting - I wonder if that was a problem I had years ago with one of those converters.
-
@Dashrender It was just last year that they did the last driver update that psudo-bricked counterfeit FTDI chips.

Replication is broken between all of our sites, AD is puking errors like no tomorrow. Looks like we'll have to recreate most of it from scratch to dump a bunch of legacy garbage.
Best part - boss is going on vacation Thursday for over a month.
Best best part - she's our AD expert.
Bestest part - there's no time to fix any of it before she leaves.
I'd like to order a case of bandaids, hope and bailing wire please.

Add a case of Knob Creek to that also.

I prefer Woodford Reserve.

@scottalanmiller @johnhooks Neither of those is scotch but I like where this is going.

Normal Knob Creek is amazing. However, if you want to get smashed and pay a lot of money, the single barrel will do the trick.
-
@johnhooks I'll give it a try but this is for tonight:

LOVE that one. First had that in Addison, TX with @Texkonc years ago. I always keep a bottle around now. That's a great Scotch. My wife loves that one, too.

@scottalanmiller My favourite hands down

I only get hundreds per day, and 95% of them either get moved or deleted.
Also, I feel like a slacker, only 3009 messages in my personal gmail inbox.
Yeah, I've had my gmail account for 11 years and only have a bit over 3000 messages in there. I could probably reduce that significantly but I swung the axe-of-mass-deletion recently.

New naming convention time! I suggest dinosaurs or geological landscape features.
