Ability to reach the settings button

If you have an ad blocker you can also block the xbyte ad, this will allow you to click on the settings button.
How are you blocking the ad, it's it just like any other picture on imgur?
-
@Dashrender Just using find-an-add feature of uBlock. It has to be done manually every time, which is good for the one off stuff. I just wanted to present a different option.
-
Ad block has an option too.

awww.. OK, it's not like - have ad blocker will block. While that's good for testing fixes, etc, hopefully we'll keep the ads alive for ML's sake.
-
@Dashrender Agreed. I don't block it universally just when i need to get to specific settings on those pages (which so far has been rare.).

We are hoping that @julian has a fix for this soon. There are several issues on our site that they are looking into that the same code is not causing on their site. So we are unsure what the issues are coming from.
-
For a quick fix you can do this (until they fix it):
.account-fab { z-index: 5000; }
It will put the button above the ad.
Edit: copied the wrong class. Should work now.
-
Eh hang on, it worked in Firefox but chrome is screwing up. I'll check something else.
Got it. I copied the wrong class.

I was going to ask if these were just CSS changes that could be made, lol.

We did but that, but it did not appear to do anything.
-
Maybe it took a while to work and that is what fixed things?
-
I still have the issue where the menu is off of the left side of the screen.

Does the site cache anything? If you didn't clear a cache after you made the change, it might have taken a while.

It does, but we did.
