I assume that yours was set up with Gravatar as your account was new enough that I assume that there was no other option? If you log into Gravatar, what does it show you?
-
I created a Gravatar account and mine is working fine now.

Trying to work on the Gravatar account now. Although the picture still shows that it is linked to my email and it is selected. I think I am missing something.

@JessWaterfordTech Several people are reporting accounts that just don't work. So it is very possible that you have everything correct and it just isn't working.

Too many accounts as it is, not going to bother with an Avatar

You realize the purpose of Gravatar is to consolidate accounts specifically? That's why I love it as an end user. Set it once and it takes care of nearly every site I am on.

Yeah it's not worth it. Enough stuff tracks us online as it is. Why give it over unless we want to?
-
Avoiding Gravatar doesn't change that. The info is the same either way. If you want to control the tracking you have to control the email address, not avoid Gravatar image hosting. The people having the panic about those things aren't thinking through the technical end of how these things work and are only hurting themselves while not realizing how much they are handing over to others. They are actually making their privacy worse, not better.

That's weird. Was your old one Gravatar?
Looks like my old one was uploaded here. So after the update it started using my Gravatar. I changed my Gravatar image to what I wanted it to be, now it isn't working.
-
You have an avatar a second ago, then it disappeared. Maybe it was my cache being funky.

Same. It was there and now it isn't.

Ok, did the "rating" of ML change recently? I figured out that I had to set my pics on gravatar to "G" rated, then everything is working. I had them all set to "PG" before, I erased and re-uploaded, got the same issue when set to "PG". Set it to "G", all is well.

Wow, now that is something interesting.
