    I hate content...is that weird?

Not at all. Churning content is more of the creative/artistic mindset, whereas getting a site running's more of a practical one. Any time I've done web work, I've had others feed me the content. "You want your website to look like your latest product catalog? Ok, send me a copy of it and the content you want to show up." It's easier to have a goal/image to work to rather than create "stuff".

It's the only install option that I normally use. I only install the GUI if there is a specific site technical deficiency making it necessary.

It's the default option and the option that is suggested with all new 2012 R2 installs thanks to the Server Manager and PowerShell. The really nice thing is that you can deploy Server Core, and if you so choose at a later date install the full GUI and even revert it back to Core. It's not a irrevocable decision now with 2012.

That has saved me a few times so far.

Up until about a month or so ago I was still afraid of doing this because I thought it was still irrevocable like it was in 2008 R2. After seeing how to switch back and forth with a few PowerShell cmdlets and parameters, I'm going to install and maintain more core systems because I always have RSAT and Server Manager now.

So far, all the changes for IE that I've had to make have been doable via GPO. I recall using IEAK years ago, but stopped using it once I could start using GPOs.

If the sales guy is doing a good job, you don't care where he is or what he is doing. If he doesn't make sales you don't care if he works hard 100 hours a week. Tracking a sales guy can only hurt from a business perspective.

@scottalanmiller I'm mainly wanting to use it to centralize documentation. Both things I create and for existing documents.

We use it for docs for sure. Both traditional docs and wiki docs. Plus we use it as a database and light workflows.

@computerchip I worked with a guy (contractor) who used it quite a bit, but he told me that he still got more business through word of mouth than the site itself. He made enough to cover the expense and still make a little extra but the frequency wasn't there.

I read that....but i want a client. we want more we want more.

I thought I read somewhere there was a client that worked with Hylafax, but I'd rather punch a wall and break my hand than try messing with it.

baha good luck with that! yes, i have tried a couple oft these clients to no avail.

They use different install locations. Each maintains its own space and database. They don't interact at all.

@JaredBusch That's what I think, too - it's kind of a phishing thing at this point and isn't connected to my current email. I feel bad that my friends are getting spammed and think its me. 😞

The VP at my former employer pays me to come take care of her home gear ever couple months and she has recently been suffering through this also. Just for her it is her active Yahoo! account, not an inactive AOL account.

The headers all clearly show that it is not coming from a valid Yahoo! server. When she called me to ask ab out it, I looked in my SPAM file and found her emails to me. This means Google blocked them and the problem is that the recipients' SPAM software is obviously not up to snuff.
