Back in the office today after a very emotionally taxing day yesterday. Hoping the clock runs a little faster today.

I hope that all is well. Pretty exhausting day here yesterday, too.

Bad things come in three's right? was at a funeral service for an uncle on my dads side, when we got the call that my aunt died (same side) just waiting for the 3rd bad thing to happen (or find out about it)

this was on wednesday, it's just been a wild ride this week..

up at the hospital with my Girlfriend, been here since Thursday. looking we may go home today but we will see.

Oh man, is everything okay?

Better now that she was given some food. she wasn't able to keep anything down for about a week.

Oh wow.

thankfully they got her rehydrated, got her some meds and she's finally able to eat some real food.. it's been a long week.. but she's getting back to normal!

Thankfully I found it in the Apple store on my Support iPad.. Having them check now.

Never mind, they can download it but it doesn't load anything like it is supposed to .

With Mac, the hypervisor can be completely transparent to the user. You put a desktop icon for the Windows software on the main desktop, and the user never even knows they're running under a different OS.

Of course, you have to pay for the hypervisor(s) that enable that for Mac. Just a cost of using the platform.

Update - got windows 11 install USB - going to try to use the installer to replace the files that are corrupt - though i fear the PC can't actually install Windows11.

edit running system scan through installer cmd now..

got an error on installing /net 3.5 ; through google-fu I found a cumulative update that didn't install, I think I'm getting closer to cracking this one open and getting it fixed

appreciate the push in the right direction.

Windows 11 install is corrupt.. according to documents from Microsoft forums about this error code I keep getting.

Followed the directions.. So now we have to reload the PC to get this fixed.

Sounds like crazy, but the Net3.5 it usually downloads from Windows Update on WIndows 10 21H1 and 21H2 so it should be the same for Windows 11.

I get that, saw that online while looking up the issue I'm having.. but it wont do the windows updates, I get the same error when it tries to install the updates, which tells me something in the windows upgrade broke something important.. correct me if I'm wrong - but at this point nothing I've done has fixed it.

Windows update service was off, I turned it back on and see the cumulative update for .NET framework 3.5 and 4.8 , it's trying to install now. but if this doesn't work, I'm out of options. unless someone can give more insight on how to resolve it, of course.
