WOW..... our receptionist got spear phished hard... payed out $44k without confirming it with the owner. Granted, they did spoof the owner's email, but not his email signature. Should have caught it there. Does anyone know of a magic bullet to stop spoofing on O365?
contact them outside of the email and verify it was sent to them ..

We all have the ability to work from home but they dont like it because "youre job is done in the office - less distractions" which is absolutely bullshit. I got more work down this last week at home than I did the last 2 weeks in the office because of pointless conversations and less than adequate work to do in the office.
I had 3 projects at the beginning of the week last week that are all now complete.

I am seeing project spawn projects that should be separate projects after the initial project is finished... It is a cascading mess...
Good on you for proving that they should reconsider they process / policy.
they wont sadly because of the "onsite" aspect of the job.
but When it's available I enjoy working from home.
Finally back in the office after 12 day quarantine. it feels nice to have 2 screens and an actual Desk to work at again.

Was just told we are moving to a clock in / clock out time clock system starting Monday - Guess it's an app that we download on our phones- For easier tracking of our times etc..
Apparently we "arent supposed to know this yet" because it's gonna be dropped on everyone on Monday morning when it goes into effect - I guess. It's confusing for me that management is hiding it from us - only reason I know is my Direct supervisor told me about it because he doesn't feel like it should be kept a secret til it comes out.

Nope, just a bad joke. I've gotten so many great reactions from people while I'm working at the jail and get a phone call tho. "Sorry, I'm at the jail right now and have to finish this up. Can I touch base with you latter?" So many people hear "I'm in the jail right now"
