first meeting was good, lots of HR stuff
next one is with the owners/ founders

Cool stuff.

On "break" currently - but I'm going to go ahead and start working on the training stuff next meeting is 3:30 for shadowing, so far this seems pretty awesome.

Coffee and reading to start the day, shadowing through out the day - finally got access to zendesk

Might also consider a ring light.

Actually the white wall that is just behind the laptop is much better than a ring light. Just bounce a light source of it and you'll get a very nice light. Search for "bounce lighting" if you want examples.

I have this setup - I have a LED lap that I pointed a the wall and turned the camera on - much better lighting for video calls and wat not.

Son's first flag football game of the fall season is Saturday - cleaning and working in my workspace to make it a little bit better / more functional - playing with the new headset as well as looking for a new keyboard.

Realizing that being at the right company makes all the different for what you do and how much you do. This company in a week has been 1000x better. It is , yeah. great company awesome people and lots of learning happening ; excited to get started with customers- i've been closing ticket and it's only my first week .
the perks are awesome too (coffee subscription paid for by the company is by far my favorite)

Nice! That'd make an incredible perk.

that coupled with them buying lunch once a week ($25 Door dash gift card) I'm pretty well taken care of.

Neither - Car and home insurance

Well first thought is age,.. at least there used to be a bracket thing... Did something get added / removed / changed? A friend had her home insurance get completely side swiped by the fact that she (at the time) need FLOOD insurance.

At an elevation that would be difficult to flood... like,... a major interstate would have had to have been flooded before her house flooded.

They removed my home insurance because they never sent me a couple documents that were needed .
which raised my car insurance rate because they were "bundled" together. It took 3 hours to get to the bottom of it, and had them send over the form electronically , signed and returned.

Now we wait to see what they come back with

the italian festival is happening this weekend, Going on Sunday to that - Dinner with my girlfriends mom after that and Monday (labor day) looks like a cook out at the lake boating/fishing/drinking enjoying the sun.

had a nice three-day weekend - My Son's flag football team won the championship for 3 divisions in his age group on Saturday. Back to the grind this afternoon!

I do not, at the moment but I have an old PC in my work area I can throw linux on and try that. I just heard it beep a whole bunch so I think your right.

Working tickets and looking at the new insurance being offered. 12 plans ranging from 139 a pay period to 650 a pay period. I wish I knew more about insurance. I dont know how to adult to this level. lol

Getting started on this beautiful Cold and white Wednesday. Apparently we have a chance of up to 8inches of snow from today - Friday many different sources many different thoughts on what the total will be.
My thoughts are; we will get anywhere from 0"-99" inches between now and the end of the year.

need more coffee. lol
