      Current task underway is getting those Assets to tie between the monitoring center and the help desks so that you can have an asset (or assets) added into a ticket.

      We just did our first update for the evening. Small one, just aesthetics on the helpdesk internal notes timeline so that it is easier to read.

      @nadnerb we are not a coders for hire agency, no need for anyone to look us up realistically. The products, yes, they'd want to look those up. But not the software firm. Anyone looking us up specifically would, we expect, be a customer or at least get to us already knowing who we were (meaning they know us from researching a product, not just interested in us in general as we have no products with our name on them.)

    • Aug 4 Sodium Update Roundup

      Happy Friday everyone. Friday is our big update day for Sodium and our updates for the day have already begun. We've had a couple of small update rounds so far today and expect many more coming this evening.

      The latest update from just a few minutes ago includes fixes to the logout functionality to speed that up as it has been very high latency up until now.

      More updates coming throughout the evening. Friday is always our busiest development and deployment day.

      There should be an obvious note somewhere about that, but where I wonder.

      There are two cycles, one to "add" the new machine that happens every 90 seconds. This is the one that shows you that your machine is in the list. The bigger one runs every five minutes and grabs all of the data from the machines. This is the one that you are waiting on. Keep the screen up and you should see your data populate any minute now.

      Not right now. Having tickets totally vanish can cause issues that have to be very carefully considered. Especially if other data depends on them.

      I spoke with @QuixoticJeremy about this and getting the Nickname feature is slated for release later today. That's the real issue that you are seeing, you are seeing the ID field and wanting to rename your ID, which would be very problematic. But the field for naming the computers yourself is not there yet, so that is coming later today. Then you can name them anything that you want for your own viewing purposes.
