Our Videographer arrives here in my area on Sunday! So she will be doing some videos while she is here ahead of time.

Honestly we gave up with SfB it was too laggy and crashed often it also didn't transition between desktops and cell phones well (didn't get all messages at the same time across both). So we jumped ship and went back to regular skype which is far better for screen sharing, presenting etc. (not that it is the greatest either).

As an IT pro what things do you look for in a Helpdesk ticketing system? What things do you wish your current one did that it doesn't do?

I tend to always look at this from the management side these days (don't get to play in the IT side much anymore). So help a manager out please!!

As someone who works with Vendors and teaches them how to communicate with IT Pro's... IT Pro's may all be very blunt (ok darn right harsh) they are right.

We IT Pro's (yes I am an IT Pro just have a different job title these days), will not take a second look at a vendor that hides their pricing.
We also don't like to work with Sales people we don't know. So get to know us socially not just talking about your product on a forum.
We want honesty (ok not just us), we want transparency and we don't want someone to tell us what we need.

We don't have a ton of time so not having your pricing easy to find = not worth finding out.
How can we trust a sales person if they well aren't a person to us. Online posting does take a bit to get used to being social, talk to us, joke with us tell us what you had for lunch today (seriously).
We already know what we need so don't tell us that part unless we ask you to.

Umm as a Manager I don't care if things don't get busy until 8am if your shift starts at 7am then suck it up be an adult and get to work on time. There are lots of things that you can adjust for as a manager but allowing employees to just get there when it is ok for them (even if you are running late not letting a manager know is also very bad).

No one wants to get out of bed and go to work in the morning it's a struggle for most people. The fact that you have a hard time is a point of why should your boss care? Arrival time/start time is a job expectation, get over whatever your issue is, call if you are going to be late even if the process of needing to make that call makes you a little later.

I know there are a bunch who have yet to purchase their tickets but are planning on attending. In order to get the right amount of food ordered etc. I need to know if you are coming or not!!
