Is there anyway to have a LUN or two replicate from a EMC VMAX system to a equallogic ps6100?

Don't know anything about the RDP role, but can you retrieve and alter settings using PowerShell? Most major Microsoft services feature an PowerShell interface today.

You can. Almost all of the RDS services except session host can even run on a box without a GUI.

A true backup is read only and can not be [easily] modified. Otherwise it's replication.

It is a great blog for IP Telephony in general, but never forget that they have their own agenda.

What's their agenda? I've never messed with them.

Here's more information on it http://www.citi.umich.edu/projects/nfsv4/windows/readme.html#install

Not sure why you'd do it. NFS is junk on windows. Just use SMB.

Yeah it is enough reason for me to not buy anything as well. However we went to Brother for printer a few years ago.

Remember there is a difference between HP and HPE though as @scottalanmiller has reminded us.

All Printers even LaserJet Pro is considered HP, not HPE though.

Virginia Tech is pretty well respected for engineering. MIT, Berkeley, Carnegie Mellon.

Those are the top ones that I know of.

Any thoughts on Barracuda? We've used their mail security and filtering services in the past, no idea how good they are for 365

They had an open back door in their security appliances for "remote support" that was reported last year. I wouldn't trust their stuff with a 10 foot pole.

The back door was only accessible from barracuda network it was also not on the archivers. Many companies have a method like this unitrends, Cisco, emc all have this.

Also if your emails in the cloud, Microsoft has access into your 0365 too.

      I could... but I'm not.

      Confusion?

Strange new branding... At least they didn't name it "G Spot".

Annnnd there we go... where I wasn't going...

Well that's your own fault then.

Most people try to go there...

      Not one that I know.

I like that it is completely FOSS

I like that is has a client for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
      http://documentation.xivo.io/en/stable/cti_client/cti_client.html#what-is-the-xivo-client

Not a softphone, but provides access to info for the user for things that I feel most softphones do not include.

Kinda like what Cisco Jabber can do. Pretty neat.

What do you expect for a crappy no-name brand?

Them to fulfill their promised obligations. But I wouldn't have called HannsG/Hannspree a no-name brand, they are definitely low end but their brand has been around for quite a while and they make decent monitors.

They are a chinese no name brand. and they are not decent monitors.

They are a Chinese named brand and they are decent monitors for the price. Feel free to add a discussion here, or we can go back and forth contradicting each other and getting no where.

I was adding my thoughts. You posted in a public forum, if you don't like comments don't post.

sorry thought you were trying to be a productive member of the community, not shitposting. Gotcha! Will ignore you in the future

Someone having a different opinion than you doesn't make it a shit post. But if you only want posts agreeing with you, you won't get that here.
