My loan officer from Alantic Bay mortgage group asked for my SSN over email. at first I was shocked, then realize it doesn't matter too much. I've had mine stolen through Anthem, Local Government and the IRS now. I haven't replied yet but is this common practice.

Cisco Phone Systemposted in IT Discussion
How hard is a CUCM/Cisco phone system to install and configure yourself instead of contracting it out. I have a lot of experience with other VoIP phone systems, Astrisks, Digium Switchvox, Mitel, etc. Is this hard for someone who's familiar with phone systems and networking to do on their own?

VT is only about $10k/year in State, Berkley $12k, MIT/Carnegie Mellon are expensive at $40k.

Software testers generally aren't generally IT and many times not even developers.

lol. Not with a VPN to work on it.
I'd probably just wait for tax return time to pay for it if I had.. Or fuss a lot on social media til they do it for free. It costs them maybe one or two months of the service to make it back.

TechTarget, you mean? They are the ones that named the awards. Their site is pretty atrocious.
Yep. Heck the site has very little actual content.

Always separate your GPOs out in to specific functions/goals.
Disable the Computer or User configuration if you aren't using both on the GPO.

Looking in the details, this isn't much of a security issue (outside of untrusted networks). It requires DNS/ARP poisoning first. If you can do that you can break down a lot of mechanisms.

Hulu and Netflix Streaming Devicesposted in Water Closet
I have a core i5 8GB of ram computer right now that I use for Youtube, Hulu and maybe some netflix (don't have a subscription right now). The interface of using chrome just isn't that great for a TV. Would the Roku 3 be the best experience to have? What doesn't the Roku 4 support hulu? does that mean the Roku 3 will soon not work with it either?

.Cool! I've used tape in the past but it was always considered the primary backup method... probably why I'm a bit jaded to it.
It sucks to do daily and weekly backups on tape because those are the ones you restore most often. They are still hard to beat for long term storage and will be around for a good while with many place now being required to keep data forever.

I have a Chromecast v1 - $20 and it's yours. I personally can't stand the need to have another device sending data to it, controlling it, etc.
I've been using my 5+ year old Blue Ray player for most of my online services, Netflix, Plex, Vudu, but the interface is getting long in the tooth. I'm considering an amazon Fire TB.
I thought about that as I don't have a blueray player and will likely get one. However most unlike the Roku or Amazon TV isn't there primary purpose so it's not as polished and when hulu, amazon or netflix updates they have no incentive to update to make their devices to keep working.
