I looked when I stopped. they didn't have any ATM -

But considering the day.. the Fireball will do nicely.. Cut overs can be such a pITa ..

And then the trucks in the shop for a water leak.. and they remind me that she needs tires ($700), rear brakes ($200), B3 Service ($120), and Front half shafts ($650)...

      Ahh the joys (property) ownership.

    • RE: Office 365: Automap Shared Mailbox

      @Dashrender
Not a real problem - just unexpected I suppose. I just expected to be able to disconnect from a mailbox like you can on Exchange (local). It's not a bad issue per say.. Right now I am in most if not all the shared boxes as a safe guard while I'm still configuring and setting things up.

    • ManageEngine: Ondemand - Dual Roles

Well - I'm back to working on get things set up and running right with ME-OD.

@JaredBusch and I have spoken shortly on this already and I have a single email address with 2 aliases.

      ServDesk@ is the main

      • Support@
      • Facilities@

Are aliases of of Service Desk and as he has explained and as I have read, you can do this to route tickets to the appropriate group.

However, it's not running like I think it should. I asked in the Help - Forum for ME-ODSD, and got a response, but it doesn't make sense.

      Information Technology:

I don't see how this is going to route to the technicians in the group.

    • RE: Office 365 Disclaimers: Internal / External

Many of the staff have the Disclaimer. It is set by HR - I will get with them on it. Since we spend so much time a year with the lawyers anyway.. they would know - I just have to make it show up.

I've turned off the Internal Disclaimer for now. I thought it would be 'nice' what is not show above is that there is a mailto: link to send in a support ticket.

    • Office 365 Disclaimers: Internal / External

I created two disclaimers... easy enough.

One is our 'standard' Disclaimer for outbound emails..
      If the message...
Is sent to 'Outside the organization'

"<br><br>NOTICE OF CONFIDENTIALITY: The contents of this email and any attachments are intended solely for the addressee and may contain confidential information that is legally privileged and exempt from disclosure under applicable law. If you are not the intended recipient of this message, you are hereby notified that any disclosure" yada yada

The other is our internal Disclaimer -

      If the message...
Is received from 'Inside the organization'

"<br><br>Internal Disclaimer: Please consider the environment before printing this email."

For some reason the internal is still getting attached to outbound messages.

Suggestions - I'm sure it's something simple I've managed to miss...

    • RE: Old to New: MX pointed

One thing I got ahead of myself on was my mail.(domain) A Record.

I deleted it at the same time i changed the MX. While the MX record is the important one, the A Record pointed the mail.domain so they could get to the old email from outlook.

Pointed it back so they can (should be able to) get the last message in the old pop setup... includes a link to the new portal.

Things have gone okay thus far.

Thus far - about as perfect as you could ask for. No voice mails, no emails,.. so either they haven't had a problem yet, or don't know !

Tomorrow I'm sure I'll get tons of calls.. Hmm... I think I'm feeling the 24 hour bug coming on...

O365 is already not complaining about domain issues.

I am thrilled to be clearing this step off the project board (which is buried). I know there will be tons of questions. but I have got to get this stuff moving. I can't keep living in the past with services and problems.
