I can't quite understand how companies can't see that when they have a problem and go to a vendor to solve it, 9 times out of 10 the vendor is going to give a "solution" from stuff the vendor sells. It's like wanting to buy a fuel-efficient family car and only talking to a Hummer salesman. Of course they are going to put you in a Hummer, it's all they have to offer!

Haven't read the list yet, but that is definitely partly why Scott was so panicked, and partly how he ended up in the garage in the first place - he met a new friend and followed her in to help her! Doesn't matter that she was a stranger he doesn't even remember now, he was alone, and then someone talked to him! Yay! A friend! Extroverts are so WEIRD!

I somewhat agree with AJ on this. If you wait to make any videos until you have the perfect setup, it will never get done.

But my washing machine is incompatible with any modern update! Even the dishwasher isn't cooperating, and it's the newest appliance we have!

Sucks for them, but hopefully this will wake them up to the fact that they need to consult someone before just purchasing whatever looks good to them, willy nilly. Not that this stops a lot our clients from doing stupid stuff like buying laptops at Best Buy, Staples, etc, without realizing what their requirements actually are.

Excellent idea. Scott likes doing this stuff anyway, and having a site or channel devoted to it makes sense.
