@computerchip I just figured that someone else might like to get the correct definition.

It's a slow process. I wonder why this has to be done state by state, instead of at the Fed level.

I tried mine on iPhone and it seemed good.

It is apparently an Android issue.

It seems to be working fine now. I am using Google Chrome on Android.

@computerchip said in Powershell issues with splitting or trimming data in a $string:
      Change this: $data[0] | Out-File -filepath C:\temp\chip\whois_data.csv -append

      to

      $data=$data -join "," $intLastChar=$data.indexof("DNSSEC")+2 $data=$data.substring(0,$intLastChar)

That converts $data to a string (separated by comma), finds "DNSSEC" and adds two to it (to remove the leading comma), and then tosses out everything extra.

I believe that's going to work, testing more now. Thanks!

@computerchip I worked with a guy (contractor) who used it quite a bit, but he told me that he still got more business through word of mouth than the site itself. He made enough to cover the expense and still make a little extra but the frequency wasn't there.

Quite a while means several months, not years.
