Haul 12ft 2x4s?

I've got to haul 7 8ft 2x4s and 2 12ft on my 6ft truck bed? Anyone done 12fts? 8fts I've done plenty of times

It's the same process tie them down, and staple a flag to the end of them.

Put 8ft under the 12ft, tie them down and together, and you should be fine.

I'm thinking more along the lines of turning aka do I need to treat it like I did when I drove big rigs? Never hawked that long on a normal truck

Just be aware of your extended ass and you be fine.

Ya keep them straight out of the back and not angled and you should be ok. I have an 8 foot bed, too bad I don't live closer to you.
