I liked it. It deviated from the book but if you step back and look at it as an adaption of the book you will like it. Just realistically for a movie somethings had to be changed. Also there were trademark issues that I am sure they just couldn't overcome.

You always have to do that. Anyone that doesn't will never like anything.
It is not possible to tell a story the same way on two such divergent mediums.

Yep, rather majorly diverted from the book. I really can't see a movie being able to tell the full story that the book did even more than normal with this one @JaredBusch.
Almost forgot, yes, go see it. I think it retains the themes/feeling from the book, but it's really nothing much like it.

Lab server should arrive at Colocation America tomorrow. This weekend will be build a NextCloud server, and a reverse proxy server.

Grocery....And that is just today... Tomorrow we expect to get more rain,.. which is good since Central Kentucky is under a Red Flag Warning....

Girls have Japanese culture event with school tomorrow. Sunday, my wife is working so I will lock the kids in their room. Or maybe lock myself in my room.

Driving to southern missouri tonight for my niece's wedding tomorrow.
Back to my hometown on Sunday midday for my aunt's 50th wedding anniversary.then back home by sunday night.
