The Bay area is GORGEOUS! If it wasn't so darn expensive to live there, I'd consider it...

        Weekend plans included:
Appliance repair - replaced the heater coil in the dryer, trip to SAMs, and some other miscellaneous items.

I'm confused because I need a heater coil replaced this weekend. Are you coming here?

Oh, that was very confusing given that I need that exact repair done here.

It was fairly painless to do,.. Of course it depends on the model. This was pretty straight forward as I was able to pull the toe panel off (4 screws), pull the coil assembly out (2 screws), swap the coil (6 screws) to replace it.

Saturday morning is Japanese language school for the kids. This week will be their new year celebration with Taiko and mochi pounding demonstrations.

Saturday night I'm going out with some friend and then Sunday I curl into a ball and cry piteously as my daughters are having a friend over for a sleepover.

Mwahahahah - Yea,.. Seriously I feel your pain. Upward basketball this morning, spring baseball signs ups now. This fall the twins will be into sports I"m sure. My weekends are blown before I get to even think of having one.
Also have to go to the grocery store... we burnt up 3 gallons of milk and 3 full loaves of bread... They drink milk... which is good.

Highest mountain is not even 10K feet and near the equator, that just isn't high enough.

                                        http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Apo

You need several thousand more feet at that latitude to get snow.
